3 Hours Graduate Credit through CSU--Pueblo
Instructor: Jennifer Hair
ED500 (S/U will be on transcript)
Course Description:
This online graduate education course is designed for K–12 teachers who want to strengthen their mindset, reduce professional stress, increase student engagement, and reconnect with the joy and purpose of teaching. Using Grace Stevens’ Positive Mindset Habits for Teachers as the anchor text, participants will explore practical habits rooted in positive psychology, self-reflection, classroom culture, and intentional teacher behavior.
Throughout the course, educators will examine how their mindset influences classroom management, student relationships, emotional resilience, and professional satisfaction. Participants will reflect on current habits, identify stress triggers, practice positive reframing, and design realistic routines that support both teacher well-being and student success.
The course is not about ignoring hard realities or forcing positivity. Instead, it focuses on developing sustainable habits that help teachers respond to challenges with clarity, perspective, and purpose.
