Course Description

Your course. Your timeline. Your way. Personalize your path of vital professional development!  Teachers spend countless hours of their off-contract time physically and mentally preparing for students to come back to school, end of term, new curriculum, meeting social-emotional needs, and the list goes on and on. GET CREDIT FOR THE WORK YOU ARE ALREADY DOING! This course is designed for the busy teacher in mind! It is meant to be meaningful, convenient, and practical. This graduate-level course empowers educators to take control of their professional development regardless of subject area or educational setting by offering a flexible, self-paced learning experience. Participants will explore various aspects of teaching, reflecting on their unique needs and goals to design a personalized development plan. Through a blend of readings, activities, and reflections, teachers will enhance their instructional strategies, classroom management, and overall effectiveness. The coursework is meant to be meaningful, convenient, and practical, so credit can be earned for projects you are currently working on – or even projects you have already completed. You may reference creative ideas inspired by professional research, readings, videos, or any other form of PD resources you value that resonate with you.
