Pop Culture and Picture Books (Picture Books III)

A $20 processing fee will be assessed per person for cancellations received after registering for the course. Refunds are not issued after the start of the course or after access to the course has been provided.

Course changes are not permitted unless the instructor agrees. Allowable changes are within the same instructor, as all instructors are independent contractors.

Quick Reference Guide

Step 1: Register for your course with your Provider (to include payment made to the Provider).

Step 2: Complete the online registration with CSU-Pueblo at https://csupueblo-extendedstudies.formstack.com/forms/tep_other

Provider is THE CONNECTED CLASSROOM (look in the "T" alpha section)

Once you submit, you will receive an email from CSU confirming your registration. There will be a registration number in this email, and it may be helpful to document it. You need only register ONCE per course you’re taking. Check your SPAM for your PID that CSU emails. 

Step 3: Following your online registration, you can expect a follow-up email that will provide you with your PID number. You can expect this email approximately 7-10 days later. Keeping record of your PID number is encouraged. If you do not receive this contact the Extended studies office at CSU-Pueblo. 

Step 4: Once your coursework is submitted to your provider and they’ve sent us your grade, we will enter it. This process can take up to 14 business days.

Step 5: A notification will NOT be sent out when your grade is transcribed, rather, you can periodically check your unofficial transcripts on your Student PAWS account to see when the grade is posted.

Step 6: To log in to your PAWS account, please see the instructions provided in the email you received with your PID number.

Step 7: Official Transcripts can also be ordered through your Student PAWS account.

Tamara Sinkler has a Master of Science in Education from The University of Kansas and a Master of Science in Library Media from Pittsburgh University. Her background is high school English, but she currently teaches Childhood Development and runs the Teacher Education at one of the Shawnee Mission High Schools.  She has also designed and developed continuing education courses for several universities involving special education, reading in the content area, young adult and children’s literature, measuring outcomes and Social Emotional Learning. She enjoys reading, friends and family and plenty of time with her three children.
