Teaching with Jamboard is a hands-on approach for learning Google Jamboard. You will learn to create Jams to help students develop 21st century skills: communication, collaboration, critical and creative thinking. Through lesson plans, discussions, and research you will come out of this class with a new toolbox of engaging lessons.
Required Text(s) and Other Materials: Internet access, Canvas registration, the course will be held within Canvas, Google Account, Optional textbook: Teaching With Google Jamboard 50+ Ways to Use the Digital Whiteboarding Tool by Alice Keeler and Kimberly Mattina

At the end of the course, students will be able to:
Demonstrate an understanding of Jamboard features.
Access resources that will help them explore Jamboard further.
Develop Jamboard frames.
Design an original lesson plan using Jamboard.
Assess student work and ideas within Jamboard.
Collaborate with other Jamboard users online.
Teaching with Google Jamboard
April Cremer has been teaching elementary students for 14 years. In 2020, she embraced her love of technology and the ever-changing online environment while teaching fifth grade in Shawnee Mission School District’s online platform. She runs the Facebook group “Ask April,” where she shares advice for and encourages collaboration between teachers. She enjoys traveling, reading, photography, and gardening. She holds a master’s degree in curriculum and instruction from the University of Kansas.
